Policies and Procedures

Bodywork by Jodie provides Bodywork care and massage therapy to individuals requesting my expertise.  Services provided include: Reflexology, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish massage, Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage, Peri-Operative Massage, Breast Cancer Care Massage, Visceral Abdominal Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Reiki, Healing Touch, and Aromatherapy.  A mat Pilates session with individual instruction  is also available.

Music, moist heat towels, warm stones, blankets, pillows and other ambiance may be used during the session to relax and provide comfort to the client.

Oils, creams, and/or lotions can be applied to the client for therapeutic and/or gliding purposes.

Proper draping techniques will be used at all times. Clients may be asked to help in the draping and covering up of some areas.

The client has the discretion to state what areas are off limits (ie: scalp, face, neck, upper- chest, abdomen, buttocks, feet, etc,) I do not massage male or female genitals.

In all cases I will ask the client to reschedule their appointment rather than work on them due to acute issues, or systemic contraindicated conditions or diseases and also ask that you get a doctor's permission before massage/bodywork is given.

New clients will be given an intake form to fill out and asked to sign a consent form before treatment is given.  Expect 10-20 minutes for the initial consultation, which is free, so that we can get to know one another before treatment is given.

There is the option to download client intake form, fill out and bring with or email to me before our first consultation/visit.

These policies and procedures are subject to change at any time.

All minors will need to have a parent or guardian present in the room while massage therapy is given.
